Limnofregata hasegawai
Taxonomy
Limnofregata hasegawai was named by Olson and Matsuoka (2005). Its type specimen is GMNH PV 170, a partial skeleton (skull and mandible with quadrates, lacrimáis, palatines, atlas, axis, and cervical vertebrae 3-7), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Lewis Ranch Site 2, which is in a Wasatchian terrestrial horizon in the Green River Formation of Wyoming.
