---|---|---|
M. Wang and Z. Zhou 2017 | A small enantiornithine bird distinguishable from other enantiornithines in having the following autapomorphies: premaxillary symphysis notched rostrally; cranial articular facets of the caudal cervical vertebrae dorsoventrally concave and mediolaterally convex; and ventral margin of the preacetabular iliac wing straight. The taxon further differs from other enantiornithines by the unique combination of the following characters: sternum carrying a pair of craniolateral processes and widely separated coracoidal articular sulci; lateral trabeculae of the sternum with large triangular caudal expansions that terminate at the level of the distal end of the xiphoid process; distinct supracetabular tubercle on the medial surface of the ilium; and large pubic boot with strongly recurved tip. |
