Taxonomy
Hollardops aithassainorum was named by Chatterton et al. (2006). Its type specimen is UA 13440, an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Zguilma section, Timrhanrhart Fm, Upper Bed - ZGEE3 , which is in an Eifelian coastal shale/limestone in the Timrhanrhart Formation of Morocco.
