Taxonomy
Paraperaspis angustus was named by Zhou et al. (2014). Its type specimen is NIGP 155296, a cephalon/head, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Collection NJ379, Dawangou, northwestern Tarim Basin, which is in a Sandbian basinal (siliciclastic) mudstone/lime mudstone in the Saergan Formation of China.
