Taxonomy
Cyclocardia moniligena was named by Hickman (2015). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is UCMP 106681, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Columbia (USGS 25028) - Hickman (1980), which is in a Priabonian deep-water siltstone/mudstone in the Keasey Formation of Oregon.
