Taxonomy
Sphaerexochus juvenis was named by Salter (1848). Its type specimen is GSM 24535 [lectotype selected by Whittington 1965], a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a mold.
It was recombined as Cheirurus juvenis by Salter (1866); it was recombined as Pseudosphaerexochus juvenis by Stubblefield (1938).
