Inticetus vertizi
Taxonomy
Inticetus vertizi was named by Lambert et al. (2017). Its type specimen is MUSM 1980, a partial skeleton (skull with periotics, bullae and partial skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Roca Negra, which is in a Burdigalian marine sandstone in the Chilcatay Formation of Peru. It is the type species of Inticetus.
