Taxonomy
Pseudophillipsia (Carniphillipsia) dizluensis was named by Ameri et al. (2017). Its type specimen is EUIC 13282, an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dizlu section, upper Jamal Formation, which is in a Wordian open shallow subtidal wackestone in the Jamal Formation of Iran.
