Taxonomy
Lichas (Gaspelichas) forillonia was named by Clarke (1907). Its type specimen is NYSM 9740-1 [syntypes], a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Gaspelichas forillonia by Thomas and Holloway (1988).
