Taxonomy
Atractopyge killochanensis was named by Tripp (1954). Its type specimen is A.3931a, b, an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Craighead Quarry, which is in a Caradoc marine mudstone in the Craighead Formation of the United Kingdom.
