Elops miiformis
Taxonomy
Elops miiformis was named by Lin et al. (2017). Its type specimen is IRSNB P 9503, an otolith, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Peyrehorade, Trompe, which is in a Lutetian marine marl in the Miretrain Marl Formation of France.
