Eoeuscorpius ceratoi
Taxonomy
Eoeuscorpius ceratoi was named by Kühl and Lourenço (2017). Its type specimen is CMC1, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Pesciara di Bolca, Monte Bolca (Cerato family collection), which is in a Ypresian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal limestone in the Pesciara Formation of Italy. It is the type species of Eoeuscorpius.
