Taxonomy
Dirafinesquina antiqua was named by Popov and Cocks (2017). Its type specimen is BC 63736, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GK-023, Gerd-Kuh Section, which is in a Dapingian carbonate siltstone in the Gerd-Kuh U15 Formation of Iran.
