Apateon gracilis
Taxonomy
Branchiosaurus gracilis was named by Credner (1881). Its type specimen is SCD-S756/759, a partial skeleton (complete large skull and anterior postcranial skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Niederhaslich, which is in a Sakmarian lacustrine limestone in the Niederhäslich-Schweinsdorf Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Apateon gracilis by Schoch and Milner (2014).
