Reiszerpeton renascentis
Taxonomy
Reiszerpeton renascentis was named by Maddin et al. (2013). Its type specimen is MCZ 1911, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is North of the west fork of the Trinity River, which is in an Asselian/Sakmarian terrestrial horizon in Texas. It is the type species of Reiszerpeton.
