Argyrotheca piperipyxis
Taxonomy
Argyrotheca piperipyxis was named by Elliott (1954). Its type specimen is BMNH BB.13002, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Barton, Chama-bed horizon H (D. Curry collection), which is in a Bartonian marine claystone in the Barton Clay Formation of the United Kingdom.
