Taxonomy
Symphylella patrickmuelleri was named by Moritz and Wesener (2017). Its type specimen is ZFMK MYR 6269, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (ZFMK coll), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
