Cytheridea montgomeryensis

Taxonomy
Cytheridea montgomeryensis was named by Howe and Chambers (1935). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Creole bluff on the red river at Montgomery, which is in an Eocene marginal marine horizon in Louisiana. It is the type species of Cytheridea (Haplocytheridea).

It was recombined as Cytheridea (Haplocytheridea) montgomeryensis by Stephenson (1936).
