Maobrontops paganus
Taxonomy
Maobrontops paganus was named by Averianov et al. (2018). Its type specimen is SYSU-M-4, a maxilla (left maxillary fragment with P4-M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Maoming City Oil Shale Quarry, which is in a Lutetian/Bartonian lacustrine - large shale in the Youganwo Formation of China. It is the type species of Maobrontops.
