Foulonia peregrina
Taxonomy
Ceraurinella peregrinus was named by Dean (1966). Its type specimen is Guiraud Coll., University of Montpellier and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hillside section about 250 metres south-west of Le Foulon, which is in a Klabava transition zone/lower shoreface shale/sandstone in the Couches du Foulon Formation of France. It is the type species of Foulonia.
It was recombined as Foulonia peregrina by Pribyl et al. (1985).
