Xylabion craigensis
Taxonomy
Ceraurinus craigensis was named by Tripp (1954). Its type specimen is A.3921a, b, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Craighead Quarry, which is in a Caradoc marine mudstone in the Craighead Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Xylabion.
It was recombined as Xylabion craigensis by Lane (1971).
