Taxonomy
Cybellela thor was named by Ludvigsen (1979) [Questionably assigned to this genus by naming author. Paratypes: GSC 44303-44308]. Its type specimen is GSC 44302, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is GSC 58678, which is in a Whiterockian marine horizon in the Sunblood Formation of Canada.
