Meridiocichla salotti
Taxonomy
Meridiocichla salotti was named by Louchart (2004). Its type specimen is BMNH A1660, a maxilla (premaxillary), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Grotta di Funtanedu, which is in a Pleistocene cave horizon in France. It is the type species of Meridiocichla.
