Ogmasaphus jaanussoni was named by Henningsmoen (1960) [= 1884 Asaphus platyurus (partim)- Brøgger, p. 17 (Listed.)l]. Its type specimen is P.M.O. 61519, a cephalon/head, and it is a 3D body fossil.
