Barbaridactylus grandis
Taxonomy
Barbaridactylus grandis was named by Longrich et al. (2018). Its type specimen is FSAC-OB 232, a partial skeleton (associated skeleton including left humerus, radius and ulna, right femur, left scapulocoracoid, partial right mandible), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sidi Daoui [middle Couche III] (general), which is in a Maastrichtian marine phosphorite in the Couche III Formation of Morocco. It is the type species of Barbaridactylus.
