Caloenas canacorum
Taxonomy
Caloenas canacorum was named by Balouet and Olson (1989). Its type specimen is MNHN NCP 300 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pindai Cave, Nepoui Peninsula, which is in a Holocene cave claystone in New Caledonia.
