Nesoenas cicur (Mauritian turtle dove)
Taxonomy
Nesoenas cicur was named by Hume (2011). Its type specimen is FLMR R2107, a set of limb elements (right tarsometatarsus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is VGP1 cave, Vieux Grand Port, which is in a Holocene cave carbonate in Mauritius.
