Columba thiriouxi (Mauritian wood pigeon)
Taxonomy
Columba thiriouxi was named by Hume (2011). Its type specimen is MNHN 6934, a set of limb elements (right tarsometatarsus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vallée des Prêtres, which is in a Holocene terrestrial horizon in Mauritius.
