Cyclostremiscus emeryi was named by Ladd (1966) [DISTRIBUTION: Neogene-Recent; west Pacific.]. It is extant.

It was recombined as Cyclostremiscus (Cyclostremiscus) emeryi by Hendy (2007); it was recombined as Lodderena emeryi by Salvat et al. (2018).
