Deltadectes elvetica
Taxonomy
Deltadectes elvetica was named by Whiteside et al. (2017). Its type specimen is PIMUZ A/III 4410, a set of teeth (the most posterior region of the tooth row of a left dentary with emplacements for two teeth), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Breitelen, Hallau layers d & e, which is in a Rhaetian marine marl/marl in the Klettgau Formation of Switzerland. It is the type species of Deltadectes.
