Pseudoliva inornata

Taxonomy

Pseudoliva inornata was named by Dickerson (1915) [Early-Late Eocene; California-Washington]. Its type specimen is UCMP 11053, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP loc. 458, Grapevine Creek, which is in a Bartonian marine sandstone/shale in the Tejon Formation of California.

It was recombined as Calorebama inornata by Squires (1989), Squires (2001).

Synonyms

Pseudoliva tejonensis was named by Dickerson (1915). Its type specimen is CAS 308, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS loc. 245, Grapevine Canyon, which is in an Eocene marginal marine sandstone/shale in the Tejon Formation of California.

It was synonymized subjectively with Pseudoliva inornata by Anderson and Hanna (1925); it was synonymized subjectively with Calorebama inornata by Squires (1989), Squires (2001).
