Wingegyps cartellei
Taxonomy
Wingegyps cartellei was named by Alvarenga and Olson (2004). Its type specimen is MCL CLA782, a skeleton (neurocranium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gruta dos Brejões, which is in a Pleistocene cave siliciclastic in Brazil. It is the type species of Wingegyps.
