Ducula lakeba (Lakeba imperial-pigeon)
Taxonomy
Ducula lakeba was named by Worthy (2001). Its type specimen is MNZ S38899, a set of limb elements (right tarsometatarsus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Layer W, Qaranipuqa rockshelter, Lakeba, which is in a Holocene cave horizon in Fiji.
