Bankia lincolnensis
Taxonomy
Bankia lincolnensis was named by Durham and Zullo (1961) [Holotype consists of a burrow 56 mm long 6 mm wide at maximum; width of distal cone of pallet 2 mm.]. Its type specimen is UCMP 34672, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Porter Creek, which is in an Oligocene marine horizon in the Lincoln Formation of Washington.
