Lefipania padillae
Taxonomy
Lefipania padillae was named by Martinez et al. (2018). It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type specimen is MPEF-Pb-5808, a leaf, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Cañadón del Loro , which is in a Maastrichtian terrestrial siltstone in the Lefipan Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Lefipania.
