Orthonyx hypsilophus
Taxonomy
Orthonyx hypsilophus was named by Baird (1985). Its type specimen is SAM P.24444, a set of postcrania (incomplete pelvis), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Green Waterhole Cave, which is in a Pleistocene sinkhole horizon in Australia.
