Hexecontasoma carinatum
Taxonomy
Hexecontasoma carinatum was named by Hannibal (2000). Its type specimen is FMNH PE 23487 and is an impression. Its type locality is Pit 11, Braidwood, Mazon Creek (FMNH coll), which is in a Westphalian D deltaic mudstone in the Carbondale Formation of Illinois. It is the type species of Hexecontasoma.
