Anatolianycteris insularis
Taxonomy
Anatolianycteris insularis was named by Jones et al. (2018). Its type specimen is EOU-UCF-7, a mandible (right dentary preserving p4 and adjacent alveoli), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is ORH type locality, which is in a Lutetian wet floodplain siliciclastic in the Uzunçarşidere Formation of Turkey. It is the type species of Anatolianycteris.
