Sangarotherium aquilonium
Taxonomy
Sangarotherium aquilonium was named by Averianov et al. (2018). Its type specimen is PIN 5614/3, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Teete (PIN Loc. 4874), which is in a Berriasian/Barremian lacustrine sandstone in the Batylykh Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Sangarotherium.
