Diagnosis
Reference | Diagnosis | |
---|---|---|
W. Auffenberg 1962 (Clemmys anyangensis) | That anyangensis is a pond turtle is clearly apparent from Ping's illustration, as well as from a more detailed study of the architecture of its shell. The combination of characters supposedly diagnostic of the species is encountered in the emydine genus Clemmys. Thus, it is here suggested that anyangensis be removed from the subfamily Testudininae, and that it be referred to the genus Clemmys. |
