Eotaphrosphys ambiguum

Taxonomy
Tretosternum ambiguum was named by Gaudry (1890). Its type specimen is MNHN-MTA1, a partial shell (plastron), and it is a 3D body fossil. It is the type species of Eotaphrosphys.

It was recombined as Taphrosphys ambiguum by Broin (1977); it was considered a nomen dubium by Gaffney et al. (2006); it was recombined as Eotaphrosphys ambiguum by Pérez-García (2018).
