Taxonomy
Mirasolita was named by Hermsen et al. (2013) [Compound leaves with two leaflets. Each leaflet with a petiolule and reniform lamina. Leaflet base shape cordate, apex obtuse and rounded. Margin entire. Leaflet venation reticulate.]. It is not extant. It is considered to be a form taxon. Its type is Mirasolita irupensis.

It was assigned to Marsileaceae by Hermsen et al. (2013).
