Qantas samarensis
Taxonomy
Qantas samarensis was named by Novikov (2012). It is not extant. Its type specimen is PIN 4419/1, a partial skull. Its type locality is Kamennyi Dol gully (upper), which is in an Olenekian terrestrial sandstone/conglomerate in the Kamennyi Yar Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Qantas.
