P. K. Chudinov and B. P. Vjushkov 1956 | Translated [Skull triangular with large orbito-temporal openings, which make up almost 3/4 of the length of the skull. Parietal foramen very large and round. Posterior margin of skull roof concave and formed by postparietal and tabular. Otic notch shallow. Interpterygoidal vacuity large and elliptical. Basisphenoid short and broad. Lateral portions of pterygoid and transversal flanges form a downward directed process. Pterygoids, palatines and vomers bear rows of small teeth, which are larger on the anterior end of the vomer. Jaw joint almost at same level as occipital condyle. Three teeth on premaxilla, 7-8 on maxilla, 7-8 on dentary. Lower jaw relatively massive and high. Anterior 2-3 mandibular teeth are rather slender, conical with blunt tip. Teeth 5-7 are most massive and strongly expanded transversally. Each of these teeth with internal and external tip and concave in the middle.]
I. V. Novikov 1991 (Burtensia) | Translated: [Three large molariforms of approximately same height and at least one incisiform on maxillary bone. Dentary relatively low with four (three) large molariforms the posteriormost of which is slightly larger, and a small one behind it. Molariforms exceed incisiforms significantly in both diameter and height. Their crowns are swollen and the bases are round in cross section and only the upper part is compressed longitudinally. Maximum breadth of molariforms is at the end of the lower third of the total height. Double tips are well developed. Apices are in close lateral distance and there is a concave, sharp ridge between them.]
P. S. Spencer and M. J. Benton 2000 | Medium-sized procolophonines; interorbital depression slight; no lateral process on the quadratojugal; prominent supraorbital ridge formed by the frontal, postfrontal, and parietal; postfrontal fused to parietal; two conical teeth form the anterior part of the maxillary tooth row; a dorsomedially directed intermediate molariform (m7) sometimes forms the end of the dentary tooth row; posteromedial enamel ridge on the lower molariforms truncated dorsally by the distal occlusal basin (emend. from Ivakhnenko, 1979). |
