Taxonomy
Parasuminia ivakhnenkoi was named by Kurkin (2017). It is not extant. Its type specimen is PIN 5388/196. Its type locality is Sundyr-1, which is in a Capitanian terrestrial horizon in the Putyatino Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Parasuminia.
