T. N. Koren' and M. J. Melchin 2000Rhabdosome septate, up to 9 mm long. Dorso-ventral width increases from 0.7–0.8 mm at first thecal pair to 1.48 mm at fifth. Maximum width 1.68 mm, attained at seventh thecal pair. Thecae have straight, strongly inclined free ventral walls. Apertures distinctly everted, straight or slightly concave. Thecal overlap one-half in distal part. Thecae number 10–12 in 10 mm (2TRD 1.7–2.0 mm). Sicula 0.2–0.22 mm wide at aperture, exposed for 1.16 mm on reverse side. Upward-grown portions of th11 and th12 1.8–2.0 mm long. Theca 11 originates 0.35 mm above sicular aperture, distance between sicular and th11 aperture 2.4 mm.
