Ardenna gilmorei
Taxonomy
Puffinus gilmorei was named by Chandler (1990). Its type specimen is SDSNH 25298/2971-A, a limb element (right humerus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is SDNHM 2971A, which is in a Blancan marine horizon in the San Diego Formation of California.
It was recombined as Ardenna gilmorei by Jefferson (1991).
