Taxonomy
Parafrechites cordeyi was named by Ji and Bucher (2018). Its type specimen is PIMUZ 31880, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is HB 621, Yellow Bluff, which is in an Illyrian marine siliciclastic in the Toad Formation of Canada.
