Barrosasuchus neuquenianus
Taxonomy
Barrosasuchus neuquenianus was named by Coria et al. (2019). Its type specimen is MCF-PV 413, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sierra Barrosa (Bajo de la Carpa) [MCF], which is in a Santonian terrestrial mudstone in the Bajo de la Carpa Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Barrosasuchus.
