Douglassciurus oaxacaensis
Taxonomy
Douglassciurus oaxacaensis was named by Ferrusquia-Villafranca et al. (2018). Its type specimen is IGM-4911, a mandible (left mandibular fragment with p4–m2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 1.7km ENE of Santiago Yolomécatl, which is in a Bartonian fluvial-lacustrine horizon in the Yolomécatl Formation of Mexico.
